If you’re a little shy of trying an acid, The Ordinary’s Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner (240ml) is a great place to start.

Starring its namesake, glycolic acid (an alpha hydroxy acid), this water-based toning solution is your new go-to for effective yet mild exfoliation. It’s infused with a Tasmanian pepperberry derivative to help reduce redness, alongside hydrating ginseng and soothing aloe vera. The results? Refined and improved texture and tone, a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and our favourite: a luminous complexion.

HOW TO USE

Contraindications: This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Please refer to additional sun protection note and other warnings in provided.

Use ideally in the PM, no more frequently than once per day. After cleaning, saturate a cotton pad with the formula and sweep across face and neck. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes. Do not rinse off. Continue with additional skin treatments as needed. If persistent irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician.
